Junior League of Summit 100K Diaper Project
Join us in collecting 100,000 diapers for Moms Helping Moms, a foundation supporting underserved families across New Jersey.

The Junior League of Summit is proud to participate for the second year in a project to collect 100,000 diapers by the end of May. All diapers collected will be donated to Moms Helping Moms Foundation, a non-profit serving under-resourced families across New Jersey.
In the United States, 1 in 2 families struggle to afford a sufficient supply of diapers to keep their babies clean, healthy and dry. When families cannot afford diapers, they are unable to drop off their children at daycare resulting in 3 in 5 parents missing work or school. On average, infants require approximately 12 diapers per day totaling $70-80 per month per baby.
Moms Helping Moms Foundation is a member of the National Diaper Bank Network, which allows them to purchase diapers at a significantly reduced rate. Monetary donations raised through the 100K Diaper Project will be used to purchase diapers at wholesale cost and help us to meet our goal.
“There are times when I can't afford diapers and have to make a decision on buying food for my family, paying bills, or buying diapers. I'm so thankful for this agency and the connections to help me and other moms get back on our feet. One day, hopefully, I will be back to pay it forward to someone else.”
